How to play Empty.
Nothing to pay.

Empty is a free fake shopping game inside a pretend Windows PC. You get the browsing, the basket, the payment and the parcel. The box contains exactly what you paid for: nothing.

Switch on Empty

Your first pretend purchase

  1. Sign in to your pretend PC

    Open Empty, select the lock screen and choose Sign in. The account is local to your browser. There is no password, registration or download.

  2. Find something you absolutely don’t need

    Open the browser on the desktop. Try Amazon’t for a little of everything, ZERO for fashion or Nothing Eats for imaginary takeaway. Search, browse categories and choose any available options before adding things to your basket.

  3. Pay with imaginary money

    Open the basket, check the quantities and continue to checkout. Use fictional delivery details and pay through EmptyPay. Follow the on-screen payment prompt; every balance and payment is part of the game. If your pretend wallet needs more money, top it up in EmptyPay.

  4. Follow the parcel

    Check the order in the shop or open Parcels on the desktop. Receipts and delivery updates also turn up in the pretend Mail app. Choose a delivery speed at checkout if you want a different wait.

  5. Open your beautifully ordinary box

    When an ordinary parcel is delivered, open it and follow the prompts to remove the tape and lift the flaps. Enjoy the contents. They are very easy to put away.

There’s a whole computer to poke around in

Drag, resize and minimise windows. Use Start and the taskbar to switch apps. Open Mail, make a drawing in Paint, write a note, change the wallpaper or play a desktop game while a parcel travels. Purchases leave receipts and messages around the same PC.

Use a mouse or touch to explore. Tab moves between controls, Enter activates a focused button or link, and visible window controls handle closing and minimising. A larger screen gives the desktop more room.

Can I leave and come back?

Yes. Empty saves your local profile, orders, wallet and desktop progress in this browser on this device. Use the same browser to return. Private browsing, clearing site data or Reset in Settings can remove that progress. There is no cloud account to restore it from.

Does any of this cost real money?

No. Empty is entertainment. EmptyPay, the shops, checkout addresses, receipts and deliveries are fictional. Never enter real payment details: the game does not need them, charge you or place an order.
