Empty: shop everything.
Buy nothing.

What is Empty?

A small desktop world full of parody shops, couriers and local apps. Browse products, choose options, fill a basket, pay with fictional money, track a parcel and open it. Your purchase creates receipts and mail, and your pretend computer remembers what you did.

There are fashion shops, general retailers, imaginary food delivery and other places to spend imaginary money. Between orders, explore the PC: move windows, open files, draw, write or change the wallpaper.

Read the guide to your first pretend purchase.

It’s a parody

Every shop, courier, bank and service is an original parody made for fun and commentary on shopping culture. Empty is not affiliated with, endorsed by or connected to the real brands it pokes at. Their names and trademarks belong to their owners.

Prices, ratings, balances, purchases and deliveries in the game are fictional. Empty is not a real marketplace. No money moves and no physical order is placed.

Your PC stays on your device

There is no account to register, no advertising and no tracking cookies. Your profile, shopping progress, files, mail and settings are saved in your browser on this device. Clearing this site’s data or using Reset in Settings removes them. They do not sync between devices.

The game counts a few anonymous events, such as opening a shop, paying or sharing a receipt, plus campaign tags from incoming links. This small analytics service does not record names, addresses, typed text, order contents or IP addresses. Browsers with Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control enabled send none of these events.

Product and food photos may load from external image providers. Those providers receive a normal image request from your browser. The full list of providers, datasets and photo licences is available inside the game under About & privacy.

No real money, ever

Empty never asks for real card, bank or account details. EmptyPay, Afterpaid, rewards and refunds are all pretend. Use fictional details when a simulated checkout asks for an address.

Empty is made for play. It does not claim to treat compulsive shopping, anxiety or any other health condition.
